Is it sad....

Post by MarkWill » Fri Oct 28, 2016 11:18 pm

...that I am thinking of going to bed a little early just so I can get more SleepyHead data to play with in the morning?

I think my priorities may be slightly out of whack!

More sleep is a GOOD thing
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Ahhh....I remember those newbie days...when the first thing I did after start my coffee pot was plug in the card and see how I did the night before on the machine. Drink 2 cups of coffee while pouring over the reports and back then we had a lot less to look at because the machines didn't give us as much and we didn't have Sleepyhead.

Now I do good to get the card pulled once a month and barely glance and the most recent night's results.
I lose a lot of detailed data waiting so long but I wouldn't be looking at those details all that much anyway.

I did the same thing ... but I had TWO reports to ponder, my wife and I started with cpap's at the same time.
With the help of people here, mostly PR (I would send him the data from the cards to analogize) , and a lot of experimenting with masks and machine settings, I am now like you I look every couple of weeks .

So to the OP, and anyone else just starting the journey .... It will get better (one day at a time) ....and ask for help when you need it.

I'm 145 days in, and still downloading daily. My average usage is 8 hours 54 minutes per night. I was expecting this to reduce more, but it has come done from 11 hours 'sleep' per night pre-treatment.
