SleepyHead freeze in Fullscreen

Post by jmayer180 » Fri Oct 07, 2016 10:14 am

My SleepyHead 1.0.0 beta 2 has frozen when I selected "Fullscreen Toggle". I found a previous thread in which this was reported and extensively discussed, but without any fix that I could find. As previously reported, uninstalling and re-installing the program does nothing to fix the problem. Has anyone found fix yet? I do not find anything from JediMark or the download site that acknowledges this glitch. Alt f4 will close the program (in my Windows 10) but does nothing to unfreeze the menu.

Known bug with no fix known as of yet.
As far as I know of Mark isn't currently working on fixing any bugs.
There is a way to get rid of the full screen but I don't remember what it is. Someone will come along who knows and will share.

f11 should take you out of full screen.

the program doesn't freeze, it's just got screwed up graphics, and the menus are popping up *behind* the display, instead of in front of it.

instead of 'full screening' the app, try just maximizing it.

Hallelujah and thanks Palerider. f11 did work its magic and I could hook the margins and shrink the display and all menu items were visible and functional.

Delete everything in the windows registry with the word "jedimark" in it after uninstalling it.

Windows+R
"regedit"
F3
"jedimark"
ENTER
Delete every entry with the word "jedimark"

I found mine here
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2323866776-4218856569-3841453692-1001\SOFTWARE\Jedimark

It might be different for you

I'm very fearful of futzing with the registry. I did a search of its files, and nothing with Jedi returned.

of course, as you noticed, it's unnecessary.
