I installed a Toshiba FlashAir SD card in my AirSense. I have a few issuesquestions:
• I got it working in AP mode, but cannot get it working in Station mode. Has anyone done that and do you have the config for that?
• Also, when in AP mode, my Wifi selection pop up on my PC cannot see the FlashAir unless I plug and unplug the FlashAir card in the slot in my Airsense. Apparently, it goes into some kind of sleep mode and is not available until you cycle it by popping it out and then back in. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
• I am copying from my FlashAir to an SD card in my PC, because Sleepyhead seems to only want to import from the SD slot. I am using FlashPap for copying from FlashAir in Airsense to PC SD card. I did not see a settings option in Sleepy head to import data from the hard disk. Is there such an option? This way I could copy from the FlashAir to my hard disk rather than having dual SD cards.
Thanks

- when I was messing with it, I used this https://flashair-developers.com/en/docu ... dvanced/1/ dig around and all the config info is(was anyway) there.
- including the sleep timer, (it's made for use in cameras, after all.)
- sleepyhead will import from any directory. it's right there on the import screen.

been there, that is how I got AP mode working. used their advice on station mode, but no luck. AP mode is good enough for nowpalerider wrote:when I was messing with it, I used this https://flashair-developers.com/en/docu ... dvanced/1/ dig around and all the config info is(was anyway) there.
duh... I was looking in preferences instead of under my nose. Got it, fixed it, I am all set.palerider wrote:sleepyhead will import from any directory. it's right there on the import screen.

have you tried flashpap or sleepmaster?mdemers800 wrote:been there, that is how I got AP mode working. used their advice on station mode, but no luck.palerider wrote:when I was messing with it, I used this https://flashair-developers.com/en/docu ... dvanced/1/ dig around and all the config info is(was anyway) there.
I believe they both do the configs for you.

Re: Toshiba FlashAir SD card
yes, started with sleepmaster and got some 720 error that was specfic to windows 10 that prevented writing the configuration to the config file on the SD card. This error was documented in some other posts so it was not unique to my machine.palerider wrote:have you tried flashpap or sleepmaster?

So I switched to flashpap. It does autoconfigure and then writes the config to the SD card OK. But AP mode works, station mode config done by flashpap does not work. I don't have any more time right now, I am just going to use AP mode. It just means I have to disconnect from my router/AP and connect to the Airsense card as a standalone AP. It take an extra minute, each time, but I can live with that more than debugging this right now.
