Dreamwear Head Gear

Post by mrpickuptruck » Sun Sep 04, 2016 6:06 pm

I cannot keep the dreamer on my head where it is supposed to be. The strap keeps riding up in the back to the top of my head. I'm going to have to give it up if I can't get it to stop. They sent me a Medium. I wonder if I need a small ? Also, my mouth is so dry and my throat I am miserable. I have been using for about 4 months and the dry mouth is really bad. Help !

That was happening to me as well when I had a small. I went up to medium and it stopped. Also, I find if I have the straps too loose it does it too. Do you think you think you have a small face?

I had the same problem when I first started using the DreamWear mask. Three things helped immensely:

1. I changed from a medium to a small frame. It is very important that you have the correct frame size. Watch this video re: fitting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58jWIeg_VlY Proper frame size starts at minute 1:46
2. I started putting my hair in a high ponytail. (Not sure if that's an option for you, but it sure helped me.)
3. I found that I needed to tighten this mask a bit more than the others I've tried.

Good luck to you! Hope these suggestions help! Finding the right mask for you is so helpful in making this treatment at least tolerable!

Try sewing some Velcro hook tape (the scratchy side) into the back band so the little Velcro hooks hook into your hair and prevent sliding. It's not uncomfortable.
