Getting Tube blocked message
Getting Tube blocked message
for the last 4 days I've put on my mask around midnight and took it off 6-7am... pretty usual for me. I've noticed that before I fall asleep sometimes my machine will give me the hose blocked messages though and turn off. and also this morning caught using sleepy head that the last 4 days I've been getting only 1-3 hours use on my machine even wearing my mask. I'm confounded! I have the auto start on and heck I wake up to positive pressure on my nose, but somewhere in the night this error comes up. I checked the hoses all are fine. My mask is just a few days over 3 months old and I'm fighting with a new mask to fix the leaks so end up going back to the old one. could it be the old mask wearing out causing this issue? It doesn't seem to happen with the new mask at all.

Re: Getting Tube blocked message
I see you have a nasal pillow mask.
How old are the pillows?
The P10 has two layers of silicone at the outlet; and sometimes the inside cone will turn inside out.
If this has happened, you need to pop it out again, and replace as soon as possible.

*raises eyebrow* you can invert a cone easily just cleaning the pillow, it doesn't do any harm, just squeeze it long ways and it'll pop back out and be as good as ever.chunkyfrog wrote:The P10 has two layers of silicone at the outlet; and sometimes the inside cone will turn inside out.

Re: Getting Tube blocked message
The pillows were the ones that came with the mask... the inner cones seemed to flip inside out a lot even at the very beginning. I'm a stomach sleeper though I figured that that contributed to it too. it just got worse during this past week. Although this now explains the mysterious shut offs when I first started with my machine too (the reason why I now use an auto start) I thought I was reaching over in my sleep and turning it off! I'm gonna be trying with my new mask tonight -- Sleepweaver anew-- and see if the problem persists. I was considering keeping the p10 as a back up but I may not now. Hopefully I can solve the eye leaks tonight.
