My mom got a PR SystemOne Remstar Auto for a very low cost

Post by La Zona » Sat Aug 20, 2016 3:40 am

My mom got this used system from a non-profit organization in San Jose, CA. There's a waiting list, but it only took about 2 months to get called from the list.

Unit works great. But they sent her the wrong humidifier. They sent her a 60 series CPAP unit, but a 50 series humidifier. So the two are not compatible.

You can pickup a DS50 Series humidifier at http://www.secondwindcpap.com/ for about $70.00.

Have you contacted the organization? Perhaps they have another - opposite - mismatch they are aware of; this might allow them to correct the error.

Yeah I will try that. They probably still have a 50 series machine with mismatched the wrong 60 series humidifier. Thanks

I agree, if they have a bunch of machines they probably have the correct humidifier... call them first before you go over. You should name the NP organization here on CPAPtalk, it sounds like they deserve credit for their reasonably prompt delivery, plus a lot of people in the SF Bay area might be interested in their services.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
