Masks for Sale!!! Close to new
Hi,
I've got the following masks for sale. You know how it goes... you try a bunch, most don't work out. These are as new as it gets outside of the packaging. I tried each maybe a couple nights and gave up. They're from a smoke free, pet free home and ready to go. All men's versions where applicable. I'll pay shipping in the Cont US. Thanks for looking and sleep well!

I'm curious....these are good deals for people that don't have insurance, but looking over your past posts, you have sold dozens of used masks. Are you a DME selling masks that have been returned? Also many CPAP machines sold.Zzzzzzzzzzz... wrote:Hi,

Nope, just a guy who's struggled in the past finding the right diagnosis/machine and mask. I've been through the gamut as you can imagine. I happen to have very good insurance and fortunately a great DME who allows me to try multiple masks. As for the machines, I've been able to purchase them after a certain trial period and then no longer need them... I've also picked up a couple from 2nd wind... so there you have it... though I can see how you'd think I was peddling used wares via a DME... ha. (I've sold a few masks I didn't need, but certainly not DOZENS... and a couple machines).
Re: Masks for Sale!!! Close to new
I noticed one of the masks you are selling is listed as your current mask in your signature. You have not mentioned why you are unhappy with any mask but if you like nasal masks and are comfortable buying on line and billing your insurance then I would recommend the Aloha, I have tried about 10 masks in order to find the "one" so I understand your frustration.
Just $75 and the nasal pillows last for many months. Pick up a few extra supplies and shipping is free.

Hmmm.... er... uh... well...
you are aware of this
"In the United States, CPAP devices and masks are classified by the Food and Drug Administration as Class II medical devices with possible risks; their sale requires a medical prescription."

Icyura - there's no problem with an end user (and forum member of a few years) selling things here - it's done all the time and the gov't couldn't care less about it. Why are you so negative about everything? Why are you here - just to criticize?

Jullie,
Not that I need to justify myself to you, but, just because it's done and permitted here doesn't make it legal.. it wasn't a negative comment.. it was a statement of fact.. nothing more nothing less

I don't see where it even comes close to not abiding by the "requires RX" thing.
The person selling it has a RX(or else he wouldn't be getting a mask from a DME) and if I buy one ...I have a RX...so both people involved have a RX.
Like who in their right mind would be buying and using a cpap machine and mask and forking out all that money if they didn't have sleep apnea.
How in hell can this stuff be abused for recreational purposes??? For what all this stuff costs if I was wanting to abuse something and get high it sure wouldn't be with a cpap machine.
This stuff isn't like narcotics where it's frowned upon to have someone else's drugs in your possession.
They don't stick labels on these things like pill bottles.
Yes...there is the potential for risks if a person has some special health history but again who in their right mind would be playing around this stuff without a need and anyone with any of the contraindications in their health history would already know about them because they are real serious indeed.
I think that the original basis for the RX thing is aimed at the first provider of the equipment...DMEs and doctors and online suppliers.

Considering this is on the main page of this site
http://www.sleepreviewmag.com/2016/08/s ... p-devices/
I would think someone here would consider offering for sale cpap equipment without a proper RX might put the kind folks that run this site in jeopardy. But what would I know?
and, no, this isn't noise... but should the FDA swoop in... can you afford to defend yourself considering the massive resources the Federal G'ment can bring?
