Anyone know where I can sell my cpap machine?

Post by Spinfall » Sat Aug 06, 2016 10:47 pm

I have a REMstarAuto M Series A-Flex and humidifier with 890.5 blower hours and am looking to sell it. Does anyone know where I could sell it online? Tried on Ebay and they deleted my post.

Craigslist is probably your best bet. It's most likely too old for secondwindcpap.com, but you could ask. I doubt anyone here would be interested in such an old machine.

You should sell it locally on craigslist. On ebay you were probably reported by other cpap sellers trying to take down new competition by reporting things that are in grey area of needing a prescription.

But I should ask why you are selling it? If you are giving up because it did not work for you there are people here who can help you become so in love and obsessed with it that you are addicted and dependent. If a loved one was using it who has now passed on there exists a subculture that finds those machines more exciting and you should use that as a marketing angle.

Donate it, but not to Goodwill--I was told they destroy them.

If you find you can't sell the machine, here are two possibilities for donating it.

http://www.sleepapnea.org/resources/cpa ... chine.html - Sender has to pay shipping charge.
http://www.reggiewhitefoundation.org/su ... efault.asp - Not clear if you are responsible for shipping charge or not.

Good luck with the process.

It actually worked well for me. I used it every night. I just happen to receive a new machine.

If you are totally hard up for some bucks , try Craigslist... there's a lot of sleep deprived suckers hanging out there

Or, as 49er mentioned:
http://www.sleepapnea.org/resources/cpa ... chine.html - Sender has to pay shipping charge.
http://www.reggiewhitefoundation.org/su ... efault.asp - Not clear if you are responsible for shipping charge or not.

Also: some local DMEs or even medical clinics will take donations and forward the machines to various organizations. Sorry I have no details to share on that.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
