XPAP and electric Comany

Has anyone be able to claim using xPAP as a lifesaving device? If so/not how did you doctor react to filling out the forms? How did you approach this with your doctor? Did you talk to you sleep doctor or your GP?

we went to the local power company website and downloaded their form
had the dr fill it out (np) mailed it to power company and got
a return form from them saturday ... saying they would try to
put us up on list but for us to be prepared to take care of ourselves
in an extented outage

Could I get one of those for my Microwave, I'd starve to death without it, and I can't afford enough "D' Cells to run it. Jim
