HELP: Battery suggestions

Post by John Yee » Fri Jun 17, 2016 5:38 pm

Help. I'm a Boy Scout leader who has suffered for years without my CPAP out during summer camp with the other scouts. I'm ready to purchase a battery for my Phillips Respironics System One, 12V CPAP. I'm hoping to stretch the time to 6 nights or be able to recharge mid-week.

I've been looking online and wondering if the lithium Ion battery packs are the way to go and specifically if the BPS - C-100, Freedom Travel CPAP Battery is the way to go or get a Goal Zero Yeti 400 which I can use for other accessories too.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Battery drain is tied to your pressure needs.

A real deep cycle battery is the best option unless you just want to play around charging batteries all the time. Jim

On vacation now so i'll be brief. See

Your suggestions are good but very pricey. If you're car camping, the AGM bats are heavy but pack a punch. One might go 6 nights.

I use a C-266 battery http://www.bestcpapprice.com/Compact-Po ... p_516.html
It is just under half discharged after 3 nights.
The Intelipap humidifier does not run on 12 volts. The heated humidifier will more than triple your power requirements.
