Is sleepyhead still updated?

Post by pandimus@gmail.com » Sat Jun 04, 2016 10:24 pm

Hello all,

New member here. I am curious if the software sleepyhead is still being updated. I have a Device: BiPAP S/T 30 (System One 60 Series) (1060P). It says this model is not supported. I know i can use Encore Basic, as i have used it. but would like the extra functionality of sleepyhead. I did PM JediMark, but alas no reply. Is there another developer that this was handed off to?

thanks all

Johnny

There's a new version but I don't know if it supports the S/T model.
It's not a common model and I don't know if the files on it are the same as the other bilevel machines but it now works with the System One models and the new Dream Station models.
The only hiccup might be the S/T part of things.

Won't hurt to try though.
Follow the link here to the latest version 1.0.0 Beta 2 xxxx

it seems he's gone back under his rock again, no code updates in over a month... if you know any decent programmers.... the sleep apneaworld could use their talents...

yes, gpl3, us linux users have to compile our own versions.

yes, you should hear him bitching about qt every time they change something

his latest is that they EOLd webkit for 5.6, and SH uses webkit like mad.

Odd it seems 5.7 is still in the planning stages. I guess webkit is no longer going to be used in QT at all.

webkit was dropped for some other web thing... I asked why he was using webkit in the first place, since as far as I knew, SH couldn't be used to browse the web... something about it being easier... you see hints of it here and there if you copy and paste fields
