hi,
I am trying to figure out the results of the last few months in Sleepyhead software. I have a ResMed S9 AutoSet. I used to have a Min pressure of 4 and a Max pressure of 20. I noticed that my max EPAP was around 10.28 average in January so I decided to lower the Max Pressure to 10. In February, my Max EPAP was 9.86. Now over the past few months, I have been running a lot (probably an average of 20 miles a week or so). This resulted in some weight loss (around 15 lbs) although I actually lost more fat than that and built up quite a bit of leg muscle. Anyhow... I am now looking at my results for the past few months:
February: MAX EPAP = 9.86, AHI=0.73
March: Max EPAP = 8.80, AHI=0.54
April: Max EPAP = 7, AHI=0.34
May: Max EPAP = 7, AHI=0.35
I am not sure what to make of this.... Does this mean I am improving? Should I lower my max pressure further and see if my AHI still remains below 1? I am thinking of lowering the max pressure to 8...
thanks for the feedback!
