Sleep study in dubai

Post by hueyc » Mon May 16, 2016 1:56 pm

Hi all,

I havent done any sleep study but i suspect i might have sleep apnea as i snore loudly and the snore pattern is kinda similar to OSA. Currently I am using snorelab apps to monitor my snoring.

As I am quite new here in Dubai and somewhat tight with my budget, would like to know hospital in dubai is the best to do sleep study and how much will it cost per session? How many sessions do i have to go through? Can i just send the snore recording to doctor instead? I have read from somewhere saying that medical insurance will not cover the cost of sleep study, is it true?

THanks guys for ur help

Don't have the answer to your specific questions, but here's a link to a forum search on "Dubai".
There may be some clues in there somewhere.

Snoring is only one symptom so lab study is indicated as it addresses many more potential issues.

And you need to call your own insurance co. re those questions.
