Help with reprogramming SD card

Post by groovetta » Wed May 04, 2016 11:56 am

I did a stupid thing before realizing I shouldn't have done it. I put my old SD card from my Resmed S-9 in my new Resmed Aircurve, forgetting it has auto updates. Now my SD card won't work in my S-9. Can anyone tell me how I could reload the SD card so it will work with my S-9?
Thanks

Just use your computer to manually erase the SD card...open the SD card with Explorer (or whatever you use) and highlight all the files or folders and manually delete them.
Then put the SD card (that is now blank) back into the S9 and it should accept it just fine. You lose detailed data that is not stored on the S9 but the S9 stores enough of the important data to get you back in business.
If you have the software that lost data is still in the software reports.
There is no need to reformat using your computer because the S9 will just format it again.

Alternately if you are getting the "invalid card" message it may prompt you to erase the card and the S9 will erase the card for you and then it puts the stored data back on the SD card.
