On oxygen, want "JD" Invacare Homefill Cylinders

Post by otrpu » Wed Apr 27, 2016 7:42 pm

Apria has been my provider since 2003. I've used Invacare Homefill oxygen cylinders while making rounds for 8 years. Got laid off cause new Security Manager didn't like that I was on oxygen full-time. So, I want Apria to swap 4 little bitty Homefill cylinders for a "JD", (M-22), size cylinder w/Invacare Homefill fitting on the cylinder. Either Apria or oxygen people seem to not want me to have this. My idea is to mount two of these cylinders on the back of the rear of my mobility scooter so I can travel around 8 to 10 hours a day. Try as I may I cannot locate JD cylinders w/Invacare Homefill fitting. Anybody have any ideas how to accomplish what I want?
Cheers,
otrpu

in this day and age, it'd probably be better to try and get a portable oxygen concentrator, instead of a much more dangerous and troublesome o2 tank.
