Post by Gryphon » Tue Apr 26, 2016 8:13 pm

Has any one been able to successfully setup a Wireless SD Card to automatically download detail sleep data from your card each night with out having to pull the card ect.

Just looking to see if anyone else has got'n this to work. I'm going to order one and try it.

I've been using one for several months. I put a new SD card in my computer, and transfer the data to it. Sleepyhead expects to find data at that location. I have already set up a flash air card for my backup machine. I use flashpap software to download my data from my machine to my computer.

Thanks for the quick reply - I'm getting one some time soon and would like to check back with you if I run into any issues. If that would be ok with you.

I've been using one for about 18 months with great success. There are to two free SD data download programs available. 1. SleepMaster, the one I use, and 2. FlashPAP. Both are very good pieces of code.

Here are their links:
SleepMaster:

FlashPAP:

Good luck.

I use flashpap. You have to go through the setup slowly and carefully (and maybe a few times.) It sets up a folder to which it copies the data from your card, and then points Sleepyhead there for the import. It was not terribly intuitive, but I got it done. I use it with a Windows tablet, because ...

I could never get it to work on my Apple laptop. I know others have, but it didn't work out for me.

I have successfully used both versions of software in both Win and Mac. I personally use FlashPAP daily.

flashPap here and very happy with it. Go slow with the initial setup. It took me a few tries, but once it was configured right, it works very well.

Both work well, however if your flash card and computer isn't on the same /24 subnet, sleepmaster won't work.

For example:

Wireless flash card is 192.168.1.5
Computer is 192.168.1.10

It'll work.

My wireless flash card is 192.168.4.115
My computer is 192.168.5.1

It doesn't work.

Sleepmaster doesn't properly read the network's subnet mask, so it doesn't scan properly.

I haven't found a way to fix this other than stick the computer on the same /24 subnet.
