machine noise

Post by sleepy1216 » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:50 am

My machine does not make a loud noise, it's the normal machine sounds. The problem is I'm one of those sleepers who can't fall asleep if there is any type of repetitive noise I can hear. I have tried the white noise, sleeping with headphones on and even went so far as to cover the machine, but I can still hear the noise it makes when breathing out.
Does anyone else here have this issue and have you tried something that worked for you?
I'm finally getting used to the mask, but I can't fall asleep wearing it because of this noise and it's driving me crazy!

thank you for any suggestions......

I'm the same way about the machine noise. Went to Bed Bath And Beyond and got one of the little noise makers with different nature noises, rain, thunder, water fall, crickets ect. I love the little thing as it overrides the little noise from my machine and mask. Has a timer on it, set for 30 min, 1 hr or all night. Usually 30 mins is plenty. Good luck...

there are several sleep sound recording that "She" will play
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

https://www.marpac.com/ I know you said you can't stand the repetitive white noise sounds, which I'm thinking maybe you mean when it's looped, the dohm machine isn't that repetitive looped sound, just like a fan sound. I love mine.

Thanks for your suggestions.
I think i'll look for one of those white noise machines. Hopefully that will help.
