Intelli rubber base problem

Post by Ms Piggy » Sun Apr 17, 2016 10:44 am

Has anyone had problems with the rubber non slip base on intellipap
machine or humidifier? Mine has gone very sticky on the humidifier
and so it sticks to other surfaces and peels off.

I guess that I can just sit it on a rubber mat of some sort, but I would be interested
if anyone has suggestions for what else I could use please?

No, not the mouse pad, I mean the rubber piece affixed to the base of the intellipap cpap machine.
it was ok at first but is now very sticky, and I have not done anything to make it so.

I currently have a piece of saran wrap over the base as otherwise the rubber pulls off onto whatever
I sit it down on.
I'll contact cpap company to tell them tomorrow. I just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.
I have another intellipap unit but that one is ok.

I gather it has been standing on a styrene plastic or varnished surface, and a chemical reaction has occurred.
Contact DeVillBiss, and ask if a replacement pad is available.
Otherwise, put a spongy mouse pad under it.
