Any one switch from a Mirage Quattro to a AirFit? Was the AirFit better? did it create new problems?
I'm looking to switch masks but haven't had a chance to try one yet.
I'm ok with staying with my Quattro if I need to as I've had that style for about 8 years and it works well for me... but I'm going to be getting new equipment from my DME eventually and after getting outfitted with a new Quattro I'm thinking I'd like to give the AirFit a try.
Any experiences are welcome.

Re: Switching Full Face Masks...
I've only been using CPAP since Jan 1. They started me off with the Quattro. It worked OK breathing-wise and all that but it really bruised the bridge of my nose badly. I switched to an Airfit F10 and that was gone, and that works well for me.
I recently also got the AirFit P10 nasal things and they work well for me too.

I'll bet almost as many people switch from Quattro to Air Fit as switch from Air Fit to Quattro......Whatever works for you. Everyone is different.Gryphon wrote:Any one switch from a Mirage Quattro to a AirFit? Was the AirFit better? did it create new problems?

Use both, AirFit @ night then swap to the Quattro if I lay down during the day. AirFit headgear has placed a crease on my head and the Quattro can irritate my nose and cheeks. Over the years I have learned to accept minor problems so I can sleep well. Both work very well for me.

I prefer the Airfit but some people have issues with the way its headgear nexus presses in at the center-bottom of one's skull. It'd be nice if there was a beneficial alternative headgear available that alleviated such problems. Maybe some homemade padding there would help. That said, the low-riding Airfit headgear issue doesn't bother me.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: Switching Full Face Masks...
I've been using APAP for a little over 3 months. I was originally given a Quattro, but I didn't like the whole forehead piece. I used it for a month. Then I bought an Airfit F10 (had to pay for the whole thing, can only get my insurance to cover it every 6 months.) I like it much better, but it seems to leak a little more from the top of the nose. I'm one of the people who can't stand how the headgear fits at the back of the neck/skull, therefore, when I can get another mask off of insurance in June, I'm going to try an Amara View.
