What humidifier should I get??

Post by clelake » Sat Mar 26, 2016 11:01 am

Hi there... I have an AutoSet II Resmed EPR... I really need a humidifier...but when I search online I am confused about what type to purchase that will be compatible with the machine.
Thank you for your help.

We need a lot more details about that machine.
Post everything written on it.

Does your machine look like this:

If so, then the humidifier you want for your machine is the Resmed HumidAire H4i™ Heated Humidifier.

The HumidAire 3i™ Heated Humidifier is also compatible with your machine, but it seems that this humidifier was discontinued years ago.

You might want to consider replacing the whole AutoSet II itself. That machine is now been replaced by two different generations of Resmed machines. It seems likely that you've had your machine for at least 6 years, and most insurance companies are willing to replace/upgrade the machine every 5 years or so.

Eventually dinosaurs are mostly good for producing oil. There are a lot of last year's "low-hours' ResMed and Phillips Respironic machines out there for a couple of hundred dollars. Ask for help if you need to find a replacement.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

"dinosaur squeezings" as a crazy canadian with an amusing youtube channel puts it.
