Ear Irritation

Post by kfowler » Thu Mar 17, 2016 7:28 pm

I am a side sleeper. I experience ear irritation caused by my headgear. Will comfort straps help prevent this? What is everyone else using?

Some people have sewn thick flannel or microfleece fabric to those areas of their headgear... kind of a PITA but then having sore ears is no fun. PM or email these CPAPtalk members and maybe they can come up with something for you. Their prices are really reasonable.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I don't get it. The manufacturer's photos show the headgear as not near the ears.
