Thanks to the Humidifier

Post by oceanthrsty » Wed Mar 16, 2016 3:01 pm

Just a quick story.
For those that are uneasy about this whole CPAP thing. Other then the health benefits that the device provides like better sleep, better breathing, etc which all leads to overall better health.

My wife and I live in Florida where the humidity is generally pretty high. I rarely go though the water in my tank even at half full. Last week we went to Las Vegas where the humidity was about 0. For the entire long weekend we were there my wife complained how dry her sinuses were and even had a bloody nose a one point.

But not me! I filled my tank up to max and dialed in the humidity setting. Despite all the cigaret smoke in the casino and super dry air I was sleeping on a cloud.

Makes me glad I haven't bought a small travel device with out humidifier. I won't leave home without it now.

I also love my humidifier, and won't leave home without it.
Before cpap, I suffered from a dry, irritated nose every winter.
Not any more! The effect usually carried over through work in a county office,
where humidity often left "static surprises" on all the printers.

Amphibians typically require high levels of moisture.......
