Has anyone thought about or tried Inspire

Post by araris » Thu Feb 25, 2016 3:56 pm

I'm really curious as I hate my cpap. I'm curious as to how far the implant sticks out of your chest? I heard its like a pacemaker, but I've never seen a pacemaker.

Also, curious about the price?

Why don't you call one of the doc's offices near you (https://www.inspiresleep.com/doctor-search/) and ask your questions? They might do an initial in-office consultation at no charge.

Study their website so you can ask them better questions.

I haven't read the links, but there seems to have been quite a few discussions on the forum.

Here's the link from the forum search I just did.

You only slightly see a pacemaker in someone's chest, the older and thinner a person is the more it's visible.

You might want to ask them if there is an MRI-safe model.
After decades of pacemakers that cannot be used in an MRI,
there are finally some heart pacemakers that can be scanned safely.
Hopefully, they will consider this for the Inspire..

I would not stick anything under my skin for good. Why can't it be worn like a mask?

What about this Inspire:

And Dysautonomia:
