Odd Gaps in Session Information

Post by CocoPazzo » Mon Jan 25, 2016 5:55 pm

For the past three nights, there have been some odd, sometimes large gaps in my Sleepyhead Session Information (from the Daily Tab, shown as Session Information in the left hand column. E.G. ResMed Session #14536049404 22:08:55 22:54:55 00h 46 m 00s; and so on, many 10 minutes or under, with gaps in between). If you were to believe this data, I somehow have been stopping and starting my CPAP every half hour (or even five or ten minutes) and then restarting it throughout the night. I've made not changes to settings or preferences. It just began out of the blue.

If this data is to be believed, I'm suddenly using the machine about three hours total! And since I know I turn my machine on about 10:30 p.m. and turn it off about 6:30 a.m., I am pretty damned sure I'm using it more than that.

I'm not too worried about Compliance, etc., and frankly both my body and my AHI tell me that I have been doing well these same nights. All other information seems well within my normal range. I've been using the CPAP and Sleepyhead for a couple years now.

Figure I'll call my DME tomorrow and take the machine in for a check up, but just curious if anyone else has ever had a similar data anomaly? If so, was it the CPAP machine, the internal computer monitor (ResMed S9), a faulty SD Card, or some other strange aberration? Perhaps the return of the X Files has something to do with it.

Thanks in advance.

Well, it seems my machine was misbehaving. So it has been replaced, and by tomorrow morning, I should have better compliance data.
