What's the difference between an autoset 36005A vs 36005?

I've looked and looked and can't seem to find a clear answer. I found a 36005A for $300 so I'd like to buy it but after my goofball Escape purchase I'm wary. Thank you!

I forget what the "A" means but if it is 36005 then it is the AutoSet and it will also say AutoSet up by the on/off button. It says "AutoSet" up where your other machine says "Escape Auto" so I don't think you will make the same error twice.
I think I used to know what the "A" meant but it must not be all that important or I would have made a bigger effort not to forget it.

I've never heard of any practical differences in A vs non A versions.

the important part is the number... an a rev is just a later model... I wouldn't worry about it either way.

the 36005 is a great machine. 36006 is also a good one to get, if you happen upon a great deal.

Some Resmeds are made in Australia, others are not. Could that be it?
Edit: apparently not, my old S9 Elite is 36003, made in NSW.

I did it. I hit send. <gulp> I found a nonprofit in Colorado that recycles used medical equipment. They're name is good health will. They really worked with me to find a unit for me that I could afford. I ended up getting one that had 400 hours on it with the humidifier. crossing my fingers that it works out. Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure it's just a later revision. the serial number indicates country of manufacture... and I've seen both singapore and aussie nonA models
