Times on data are off, did I break my Cpap?

Post by tfaff » Thu Jan 14, 2016 11:37 am

This morning when I downloaded my cpap sd card, the data indicated that I slept from 11 pm till 12:30 am (1-1/2 hours) In reality, I didnt fall asleep until 4 am and slept until 10 am.(six hours). My cpap was turned on and I felt that the mask was working really well.

I have noticed recently in my SH data that the times reflected are 12 hours off, where midnight comes up as 1200 and one am comes up as 1300. Since this has been a huge learning curve for me, I probably clicked on something either my Respironics System One or on Sleepyhead.

Just really want to revive my oxygen deprived pea brain, Thank you!

The time on the system one can't be reset ... it may drift a little over time ... not a real problem.
you need to set the correct time in you computer ... you can correct to clock drift in sleepyhead under preferances/Cpap
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

Open SleepyHead and go to the edit your profile feature and redo the time zone you have chosen.

Upper left...click on "file" and then "edit profile" and pay special attention to time zone...make the change then go all the way to the end by clicking next so that the change is saved.

Clock drift is for minor time being "off" like a few minutes but for major times like hours...check time zone selection.

Got it, my time zone was set for Samoa somehow. LOL Today was a very good day anyhow, I have very few of those, but my readings were way off. Ill see how it looks tomorrow. Thank you again.
