Model is very important as the Airsense 10 CPAP is not full data capable. While Autoset (APAP) and Elite (CPAP) models are data capable.

My machine has that same model # on it. It is a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset.
Has it been exposed to smoke or pets?

Resmed's warranty is not transferrable. So you are selling a machine that will have no warranty to the buyer. http://www.secondwindcpap.com buys used machines. They sell that machine used for $600, with a new water tub, and new hose and a 1 yr warranty. Other trusted posters on here sell them here for $500.

But, a lot of people will not be interested in a machine if it has been exposed to smoke.

Why are you selling it? You should post a picture of it for us to see. Did you only use it a few nights and give up?

Were you diagnosed with Sleep Apnea......and were you prescribed this machine.......AND, is your insurance still paying for it?

It has never been exposed to smoke or pets. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and my pulmonologist prescribed me this machine. It was purchased through Roberts Home Medical. After a couple nights of trying it, I couldn't sleep through the night. I decided to try a mouth piece, which has been much more comfortable for me. But now I have the machine and would like to sell it to someone who can actually use it. Thanks for your information and insight, as this is an entirely new thing to me.

I'd like to encourage you to use this forum to help make your machine work for you, not to sell it off.

Almost no one has a trouble-free experience adjusting to CPAP -- but those who follow through are overwhelmingly glad they did, because it's a life changer.

This is your life we're talking about.

If this was purchased with insurance, be sure you own it free and clear. Insurance requires you to pass compliance before it is yours. If you have not passed compliance the ins co may ask for it back.

Does your dr approve of you not using the cpap machine? Have you had a sleep test with the mouth guard to confirm it treats your apnea?
