New with lots of questions

Post by Bcatz3 » Tue Dec 22, 2015 10:11 pm

So I was recently diagnosed with severe obstuxtive sleep apnea. However it seems I may have been misdiagnosed my sleep technician as well as the sleep specialist seems to think so. They think I have central because I had 171 central episodes and only 9 obstructive episodes. The question that I have is has anyone else been diagnosed with the onstructive while having a higher number of centrals. They have me using a CPAP with a pressure of 12 however I keep taking it off though the night. Is there any chance it may be because I need a bipap? They told me at the pressure 12 it gets rid of my Aeneas... So very new at this and I just want to get this figured out because I have a 2.5 year old that I need to keep up with. I'm only able to use the machine 1-4 hours before taking it off. I have no idea when i take it off either. They told me that I stopped breathing 65 times an hour when I went for my titation.

It may be time to get Sleepyhead and look at your data.
Others have directions how.
Others stay up later than I.
