How did you come up with THOSE settings?

Did you have an in-lab sleep study? And, if you did, did you have Central Apneas in your sleep study?

Did you sleep poorly last night with a lot of awake time spent on the machine?
Or did you sleep fairly soundly with minimal arousals or wake ups that you remember?

And ditto to what Den said.

That's really ugly...the other report you posted regarding the leak wasn't that bad at all.
Makes me wonder what changed between the 2 nights.

Same here. Yikes! That's like night and day differences.

I did not sleep good at all. Seemed to take a long time to get to sleep last night

The only change is a pressure change form a min of 5 to 6 and from the air fit full face mask to the p10 nasal pillows 1 week ago. These settings were set up from my dr.

there was a in lab sleep study done but no cpap was used because it took me a long time to get to sleep. There were no centrals shown from my sleep study. Centrals have been getting worse each night.

The test was 437 min long and I had 138 minutes of sleep

Then you need to confront the Doc, show him/her the report and ask what the heck the logic of those settings are.......and that there needs to be some changes made.

Looks like you need more minimum pressure with a full face mask than you need with a nasal pillow mask.
That's fairly common.
The centrals very well could be related to the poor sleep in general or post arousal centrals from the OAs causing little wake ups.

I know people who need 2 to 3 cm more minimum pressure when going from nasal pillows to a full face mask.
You may belong to that group.

Im on the nasal pillows now. I did talk with my DR. and he downloaded the reports. Pushed my Min pressure to 8.

My med pressure is a 9.24 now He also said the Centrals might be post arousal centrals from the Osa causing little wake ups or the machine might be false recording them.

Looking at my sleep report I had a lot of little wake ups during the night.

I was prescribed a Anti depression drug ( cant think of the name off the top of my head ) that has the affect of making you tired, to help getting the wake up episodes tighter for a longer sleep time of 6-7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

He suggested I wait till im tired before going to bed and trying to get a routine going. Any ways I do know the Cpap is helping me some and I do feel better.

Thnaks for all the info you guys have on here....

My bad night is AHI of 40. My best night so far has been an AHI of 11. I have a sleep study scheduled in December. From where I am your 5 ish AHI looks pretty good to me.
