Doctor said I don't have OSA since my AHI is 1 to 5 range

He did say I I get apneas at night and snoring, but nobody is perfect, humans are not machines and you shouldn't expect everything to be 100%. The problem is, even though I have low apnea occurrences at night, those apneas disturb my sleeping during REM sleep, which triggers parasomnias (Seizures, sleep walking, states of confusion) So it only takes a single apnea or severe snoring event to wake me up mid REM sleep and trigger one of these attacks. What should I do? while i technically don't have sleep apnea, it does create other problems. Doctor admitted my parasomnias are being triggered by interruptions in my sleep, but says my apnea occurrences are nothing to worry about. These two statements seem to fly in eachother's face.

Would love some feedback from the community.

Uars. Or a shitty homestudy. Ask your doctor to get tested with itmar watchpat or a polysomnography.

See a neurologist... you just don't have what constitutes apnea, but if your other issues are that bothersome talk to someone who deals with those.

Awaiken,

Sorry for not remembering your posting history but could you possibly have UARs as many times that is missed during sleep studies? I agree with Julie's suggestion to followup with a neurologist but I wanted to throw this out for you to consider.

Did you have a home study and if you did which one was it?
