I have Cheyne Stokes number on my ResMed report and they are always above 6.0. I don't know how to attached the chart but I am concerned about numbers based on internet research. Can someone tell me what the number mean? And how to attach JPGs to my posts.
Thanks
Cheyne Stokes

I use imgur.com create a free account, upload the image and I will give you several links for posting in forums. Just copy and paste, later you can figure out how to have it embed the picture
the number is events per hour. need the graphs and maybe the morning crew to take a look. There are also some night ones, will have to see it they show up

Re: Cheyne Stokes
If you are seen Cheyne Stokes flagged on your ResMed machine then you likely are using one of the new AirSense or AirCurve machines.
Here's the manual for the AirSense machine and it explains Cheyne Stokes respiration.

What machine are you using?
When you have time please add your equipment to your profile like I have added mine. Please use text option instead of the default icony...all the icons look a like.

Cheyne Stokes Respiration (CSR) is a new flag for ResMed machines and I haven't seen any reports with those flags so I don't know if that 6 is significant or not.
A lot depends on which machine you are using...what your diagnosis was/is.....and are you seeing any centrals flagged in association with the CSR flagged breathing.
We would need to see some reports and know what machine and your diagnosis to have much chance of commenting on the presence of CSR and it's importance or not.

Re: Cheyne Stokes
Thanks all for the quick response. Sorry, I had my equipment listed on my file, not sure why it didn't show up.
