A little food for thought:

In a nutshell, there is a condition (I am a sufferer) in which the lining of the airway actually collapses, restricting air flow. It's similar to asthma in that the airway itself is constricted, but rather than being caused by contraction of muscles like asthma, this is a failure of the airway itself. It's interesting because it's not something that's well known. In fact, some people may be misdiagnosed with asthma, emphysema, or COPD who actually have this condition and therefore are not receiving the correct treatment. This condition has a few options, but there is one treatment, highly recommended, that is minimally invasive, easily obtainable, and has minimal side effects. That treatment? CPAP!
The more you know!
CPAP is for more than just apnea

Interesting article. I know a family with a child dealing with tracheobronchomalacia. Thanks for posting. Had a chance to learn a little bit today.
