Selling my Z1 travel size CPAP for $560.00

Post by Giselle » Sat Oct 31, 2015 11:04 am

Recently bought my CPAP from CPAP.com and it is a great machine I just don't like it because it's not an auto CPAP however because I open the box CPAP.com will not take it back. It is brand-new and even comes with the quiet tube muffler only used it one night basically looking to get my money back so I could get an auto CPAP travel size. If you're interested in purchasing please contact me. Have a great day!

So you're knocking off a whole fifteen dollars off of CPAP.com's asking price (brand new with warranty and free shipping), which I just looked up today All I can say is big-ho-hum.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Think about a new car. Drive it off the lot, the price drops. A LOT!
Take it home, it drops again.
Keep it overnight (or whatever)--it's USED.
Sorry, but you are much too optimistic.

Well as it says in my post it's brand-new nothings wrong with it can't return it because the box opens. Basically trying to get back what I can; so I can get an auto CPAP. If you're not interested no need to reply

The good reason to reply is to inform the naive consumer reading your post that your price is very greedy.

Sorry you made a mistake. You should have asked here first. Many of us advise against these travel machines.

I did a lot of research before choosing my backup machine, and DID NOT HURRY.
Considering the huge trade-offs for the smallest size, I chose the one noted in my equipment comment.
Its treatment algorithm is close enough to my regular machine that it is comfortable and reasonably quiet.
It also runs off straight 12 volt DC current, usable anywhere I can find a car.
Sadly, most of the ultra-small "travel" units depend on house current or a proprietary battery pack.
I do not say this as a put-down to you, but as advice to naive people reading this thread.

Thanks, unfortunately I didn't expect people to be so rude and call me greedy when I was being honest as to why I'm trying to sell it. This was my only option to come here because they don't accept returns which I wasn't aware of till after the fact.

I don't think you're being greedy. However, you aren't being realistic. If I wanted to buy the machine you want to sell, I'd pay $15.00 more and buy it from a reputable place which would then include the warranty. Wouldn't you?

You could try your local Craig's list, but in reality, do not expect your asking price.
Figure what a pawn shop will give you for the item, and add ten or twenty bucks.
That will give you a reasonable idea of what you can get.

It's rude to try to shut people up who want to comment on your post.

Again not shutting people up. If your comment isn't constructive, then why be rude? If I'm online searching for something and I don't agree with it I move on. You can take it as me trying to shut people up that's your problem. All I'm saying is if you're not interested or you're not going to say something constructive don't bother commenting.

At chunkyfrog and Lucyhere thank you for your comments, I will try that. Again I just didn't expect the comments to be so negative, It was recommended to me by the representative at CPAP.com so I went for it. But that's good advice to try and sell on craigslist or eBay

eBay will not allow it.
You can try, as sometimes it takes awhile before they notice and zap it.
You might also consider public bulletin boards (physical, not internet),
in public places which allow it. Maybe at your church or a senior center.

E-Bay will not allow CPAP sales...go to seconwindcpap.com they will give you a realistic price and pay for shipping
