Little Spots Of Glue!

Post by Ms. OwLMooN » Wed Oct 21, 2015 5:45 pm

I've been noticing as I'm taking my S9 dishwasher safe water chamber out of the H5i Heated Humidifier every morning that there's been some tiny spots of a kind of glue here and there on it. The spots are "very" tiny but I am still concerned. They kind of feel like rubber cement? I had found one spot actually in the water chamber and 2 on the outside. Right now I am just wiping them off with a paper towel and continuing with using my cpap with the water chamber but I am still curious as to what these tiny glue spots are?

How do you know they're glue - sticky?

Did you get your machine new from the dealer, in sealed plastic?

Have you asked them about it?

Is this a new tank?
This seems very odd.

It's a new dishwasher safe tank. I've only had it in the dishwasher 3 times for the whole month. I'm going to call the company to see what they say.

You have a dishwasher safe tank, next step get a tank safe dishwasher. Many times dishwashers themselves are dirty. There should be no reason to put the tank in a dishwasher, your own hands are dishwashers. Jim

My "dishwasher safe" tank has never been in a dishwasher,,,in fact...it has never had any soap in it. 100% distilled water and it is crystal clear.
