Does anyone know if Respironics plans to provide new firmware updates through the available wifi modem?

I can't find any information one way or another in my searching. In fact, PR has yet to publish much of anything related to the DreamStation online. You may want to inquire via their email address or toll-free number:

Yes it does help and thank you for the Respironics Support Line phone number.

I called them and talked to Bob in Support who told me that Respironics does plan to release firmware revisions through the wifi modem, which is part # 100600C. There is a you tube video which shows how it connects into the Dreamstation and how to configure it through the LCD set-up.
