Need help on S9 pressure settings

Post by PEF » Mon Oct 19, 2015 8:15 am

I bought my S9 on line, but had no sleep study. I live in Panama and can't get any help here. I have UARS. I finally figured out how to get into the clinicians menu to see what the settings are. The only items I have ever changed is mask type and ramp. I was not provided any info in the clinicians menu with the doc I got from the company, so I got some info off the internet.

The pressure settings are set to 4 for the lowest setting and 20 for the highest. I read somewhere that this is not so good to have such a wide range. I need to find out if I should change the settings and to what. The info screen said my pressure while I used the machine was 6.5. I have heard that for UARS, 10 is usually more then enough. Is there anyone out there that can advise me on what I should do. I am even considering experimenting with having it set to CPAP mode. However, I am not having a lot of problems, just want to maximize the quality of my experience.
