Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied to my introduction. I want to explain my situation a little so everyone doesn't think that my reluctant boyfriend is such an ogre. I live in Holland with my Dutch boyfriend. The Dutch people tend to be very tolerant, and accustomed to a less luxurious lifestyle than we Americans. Therefore, there is a greater tendency to "just live with it." Health care here, although available to everyone, is not quite the quality that I am accustomed to. We recieve the minimum of treatment, unless we keep going back till they get it right. And like the HMO's in America, everything has to go through the "Huisarts" (general practioner). So I'm afraid that getting the right CPAP and the right mask will take some time.

Angelspeel,

I love the Dutch and want to make it for the next celebration of the Queen's birthday. I have a very good friend and colleague that lives about a half hour away from Schipol Airport. I wish the coffee was as good here. Anyway, I understand the complaints about a slow healthcare system and if you want I can talk to my friend to see if there is anyway to help things along. She's a tenacious woman that gets what she wants. Anyway, even if your boyfriend was an ogre (which I am sure he is not) the movie Shrek has taught us that they are lovable as well.
