Here are my results for the last two nights using APAP mode: http://imgur.com/a/nQXeZ
My prescribed pressure is 11.
Maybe there is a clue here as to why I keep waking up in the middle of the night.
Used APAP feature, need help interpreting data

Have you (ever) TRIED your prescribed pressure?Insomaniac wrote:Here are my results for the last two nights using APAP mode: http://imgur.com/a/nQXeZ

It would be interesting to see reports from those nights, too.
My guess to your nightly wake-ups would be the pressure changes. They definitely mess with my sleep.

He's actually been using fixed pressures until this recent apap experiment which was done to see if maybe REM stage sleep might be the culprit meaning more stubborn events needing more pressure and maybe the events are the cause of the wake ups.
This trial with APAP was just to see if the machine wanted to go higher in a time frame that might be REM.
He has the wake ups even at the higher fixed pressure where no events happen.

It could just be like me when I first started. I would wake up because my mask moved ever so slightly or if it was to push into my face a little. Different and new noises. I don't know maybe your adjustment period isn't over yet. I am no expert at all but it could be as simple as you just need to give it more time and adjust. Just a thought and probably not a good one. Cheers.

The minimum of 11 cm seems to be a more optimal setting when comparing it to the 9 cm minimum.
Of course those are only one night at each setting.
You need more nights to get a better feel for where the pressure wants to go but if this holds true a fixed pressure of maybe 12 might work well or even 13.
Of course it is also entirely possible that your wake ups are unrelated to either cpap therapy or sleep apnea...which makes it extra hard to fix.

But, there are too many "unknown unknowns" going on here to figure out some of this from just the reports.
Supine sleeping, maybe?
I'd suggest to try turning off the Ramp and see if it's needed or not.
And, maybe try 12 or 13.Pugsy wrote:The minimum of 11 cm seems to be a more optimal setting when comparing it to the 9 cm minimum.
