Lucy: I certainly cannot offer any instant solutions or diagnostic help; but I would encourage you to find a way to tell the doctor everything, even that you've found this site.

If your doctor makes you feel that way, then you've got the wrong doctor and it's HIM not YOU that is at fault.

I had to send relatives in Georgia, USA information on a condition one was suffering from (burning mouth syndrome) for them to take to one of the major Atlanta Georgia hospitals. They were astonished, but grateful that they now had a name for the condition and a cure that worked.

Any doctor who believes their body of knowledge is unassailable and perfect has never seen a graveyard.

Good luck with him, or with switching to a more empathatic one.
