All,
I am trying to look closely at my data to see if there is anything I'm missing in terms of disturbances. The first shot is a pattern that I see somewhat frequently. It rarily results in an event and the machine doesn't react to it or mark as a flow limit. My typical apnea is a collapse on exhale. These are different but do seem to cluster. I've been told before that I shouldn't focus on stuff like this. However, some might have insight.
The second is a rather long event scored as a central. I just can't imagine sleep-wake stuff resulting in a pause this long. Is this typical?
Most of my numbers look good, but I typically have a few more events if I'm actually sleeping well.
Thanks,
Mike

If you want.
put a copy of your SD card on dropbox and either post the link here or PM it to me.
Thanks. I'll start working on that. I'll also try and give some dates where I was doing well to look at. I am seeing this pattern a lot. I have some missed data on recent nights as I'm forgetting to put the SD card back at night.
Thanks,
Mike

A closer look at these events. I have been having a lot of these series. I am not sure if this is awake or asleep. They don't read as a flow limit. Sometimes, they do get to the 10 second mark and are scored as mostly centrals or occasionally as an obstructive. Most are like these at either 3 to 4 seconds.
Not sure if this closer look helps. It seems like pretty long pauses. Maybe I am just missing something obvious. Am right to read these on the inhale side?
Best,
Mike

It looks like a normal breathing pattern to me (except that one where it shows the central happening). You're zoomed in on all the charts (except for the events chart), so you're only showing less than a minute's time span on each one. For instance, that last chart - looks like a normal breathing pattern with each breath spanning about 5 seconds for the inhale/exhale. Not seeing anything wonky here, but maybe I'm wrong?
Go figure - I can walk while chewing gum but apparently I can't quite grasp breathing while sleeping.

Maybe that's the case. I just don't see much normal breathing Really, it does seem like a pretty long pause to me though. It doesn't look like my wake breathing. The wake breathing is always a hodge podge. My machine scores centrals and obstructives frequently while I'm awake.
Best,
Mike
