Need a Full Face Mask Pronto - Guidelines for Sizing?

Post by miltown » Wed Aug 26, 2015 9:27 pm

I have to get a medical procedure done on the top of my scalp in a few weeks to remove a melanoma spot and it's going to take a month to heal. This poses a problem with the current nasal pillow/chin strap setup that i have...nothing can touch the top of my head while my scalp heals.

I see some of the full masks have a setup that avoids the very top of the head and i am going to just buy one asap. It's just dawned on my that there is a variety of sizes - what's the conventional wisdom here? I guess i'd have to get a few masks up front and hope i can return the ones that dont fit. My facial features are pretty normal...nose is normal size - not big at all, not overly small either. I do have a beard but that can go if it has to. Get a large mask and medium mask?

Thank you for your thoughts.

Go to https://www.cpap.com and take a look at what they have.
Most manufacturers have user manuals and sizing guides on their websites that can be downloaded.
