Request a clinician manual for the instructions, but first download Sleepyhead software and learn to evaluate your therapy.
With a new A10 Autoset why are you on fixed pressure?
Someone more knowledgeable then I may be able to address your primary question RE hearing.

A pressure of 9 is not really considered high. Your machine goes to 20. Do what bwexler advised...Get your manual and determine if your machine is set at a fixed pressure or variable (automatic setting).
