my results from last night? Now I know my leaks are pretty bad, so lets get that out of the way. I woke up at 6:15ish feeling like I wasn't getting any air, I waved my hand in front of vent holes to check it was working. Looking over the past months data I'm regularly hitting 11.5 most nights and 12 some nights.
I am still really dumb as dog poo on understand what flow limitations are and how they work (or don't)

Flow limitations are just that - anything that impedes or blocks the flow of air to less than ideal (or programmed) amounts - I often see people whose # of sleep hours and other stats seem fine, but who still don't feel right... and have high flow limitation #'s, and have sometimes recommended that they try a soft cervical collar to keep their heads up, mouth closed and airway more open (we can scrunch up a lot overnight), and very often they find it works, or certainly helps.

Thanks Julie, your explanation makes sense in this thick skull of mine.
Now that I think about it when I woke up feeling 'starved' for air, I was sleeping with my chin close to my chest. I will look into a collar. It will take some getting used to as I hate anything firm around my neck, like turtlenecks, short necklaces and sometimes the seat belt will annoy me.

Me too, but those are quite soft.
Secret - the ex-member who told us about those picked his up at Monash... also lives in Vic (where I visited 2 yrs ago), though you could probably find one at a local chemist.

My mum works for a doctors clinic so I could probably snag one there too.
I live in Central Victoria near Lake Eildon, Mt Buller. What parts of Vic did you visit Julie?
