I ended up with bronchitis over the months of January and February. I ended up not using the cpap machine as I was recovering from it.
Now I do want to break the bad habit of not using it now that I am struggling with using it again. I do feel like a newbie again and getting back into better habits.
Any thoughts or suggestions about getting readjusted to it are greatly appreciated.

Put it on in the evening while you watch tv, or whatever you do in the evening that doesn't require talking.

Re: Struggling to get back to using my machine
Do you have a copy of your sleep study report? Maybe reading things in black and white will give you a prod. Like a cattle prod. An electric cattle prod. Just kidding, but maybe reminding yourself of the reasons you decided on treatment in the beginning will help motivate you. At least this time around you know you can do it because you have. You've already passed the "I just don't know if I can do this" hurdle, and that's a big one for newbies. Good luck at doing what you need to do. If I had all the motivational answers, I wouldn't still be talking about what I need to do about other health matters.
