my s8 brick just died

My s8 just let out a loud pop and now no air. Worse part still a few more days till my a10 gets here

Hate to hear that.

Side, stomach, or recliner sleeping might help a little.

Gee, makes me glad I have 6 backup machines and 4 battery backups.

My S8 is still running with about 14,000 hours on it.

I actually only acquired 1 CPAP as a "backup." The others just sort of happened over the years in my journey of "Apneac's Progress." 1 battery was bought as a CPAP backup and the others also sort of happened.

the loud pop is probably a capacitor the ruptured on the power supply board.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Be sure to unplug the unit before opening the case. But you may be stuck there.
Spare parts are getting harder and harder to find.
Baker hardware here closed Saturday, after over a hundred years.
It was like a multi-level man cave full of every known component, part, and gadget.
Murphy's QP is in their last few weeks, generations of neat stuff, clutter, dust and---

Depending on who your source is for the A10, it might be more than "a few" days.

Got My airsense a 10 autoset today (playing with it now) call the dome said my s8 died and they pushed it though still had to drive 100 miles round trip but very happy
