I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

+1 or so. Members here trade information and stories...not just look to make a buck. That's what craigslist is for.Krelvin wrote:This is a CPAP help forum, not a market place. Its that simple.psaunders81 wrote:i buy and sell its that simple

you're not welcome to use cpaptalk.com as a revenue stream for your business.psaunders81 wrote:i buy and sell its that simple
there's a distinction between people that are members of the forum who find and make available deals on machines, either directly, or by pointing people at outside deals, and someone like yourself who's trying to tap into these people here to enrich their business.
shoo.

Re: vpap st brand new looking to purchase
FWIW - I just purchased two new P10 pillows from this member at a much cheaper price than Amazon or Ebay. I had no problems with the transaction or delivery.
People post messages here all the time to sell things. Why this seller wants to buy other equipment is nobody's business but his. I would definitely purchase from him again.

Re: vpap st brand new looking to purchase
I believe the difference is that others buy/sell AND post things other than "business" type things. If all a person wants to do is make a buck, there are sites for that. This is a forum, which is chat based. A little different, I would think?

Re: vpap st brand new looking to purchase
Hi TL - yes, I agree this is a chat-based support forum. However, from what I have seen, I would say it's about 50/50 as far as those who post and buy/sell, and those who just buy/sell. Merely pointing out that the OP is not the only one trying to do both- there have been plenty of others before him.Tatooed Lady wrote:I believe the difference is that others buy/sell AND post things other than "business" type things. Re: vpap st brand new looking to purchase
I've seen others get the proverbial boot to the ass before, when the only posts they make are sales pitches. Cpap dealers who are rather like used car salesmen/vultures, figuring to just swoop in and try to wheel and deal.
Agreed that some active forumm members DO also sell on the side, but they CONTRIBUTE.
The NONA-contributing jack weasels tend to pop in when they're trying to sell, then have nothing to add to threads, other than another piece of equipment. Again. Craigslist, eBay and local flyers. Let's keep this forum on the rails as we rocket out of control. Yeah?
Edit: I think I'm done with this silly thread. All it does is bump it to the top...and it's one that could fade away into oblivion, and only be missed by, what...two people?
