Leaks vs. my AHI numbers
I've been using my CPAP equipment for over 6 months and am happy to be one of the lucky ones who has had great success. I feel so much better, my foggy head is gone, and even my husband keeps mentioning that I am looking and acting like the "old" Judy. Here is my question. After trying out several masks trying to find one that doesn't leak, I have settled on the Swift FX Nano which is the most comfortable and has the least leaks. Over the last 3 months (using the Swift Nano FX), my leak number averages 8L/min but sometimes goes as high at 16. However, the other numbers are consistently low: AHI 0.9 - Total AI 0.6 - Cental AI 0.2 and are low even when the leak is 15/16. Should I be concerned with the leak number being above 5 (I think that's a number I remember being a benchmark to strive for) when the other numbers are so low? Thanks for any input anyone can offer.

Re: Leaks vs. my AHI numbers
ResMed uses the red line leak number to avoid as being 24 L/min. Sounds like your leaks are well below that number and as long as you are sleeping well then I wouldn't worry at all.
Even a short time above 24 L/min isn't the end of the world but if you never even go there then all the better.
