Import Oximetry Data

Post by M'ohms » Sat Jan 10, 2015 11:51 am

I just received the CMS50I Pulse Ox and am trying to merge the data into my Sleepyhead 9.8.1 data. When I save the overnight report into SpO2 Assistant, the file is saved as a .SpO2 file. After importing my overnight data from my ASV into Sleepyhead, I click to import my ox. data. A dialogue box opens and says: "No Oximetery module could parse the given file". What am I doing wrong?

What version of Sleepyhead are you using? This feature requires that you are running 0.9.8.1-testing. You also have the option to download the data from either the 50i or use the data file.

Uploading from the data file didn't work, but direct import from the 50i did work. Thanks!

that's... strange. importing from the data file was the first part jedimark and I got working. *scratching head*

could you pm me details on what you're doing, and what you've tried, so I can see if I can replicate it, and perhaps get it on the list of things to fix?

thank you, no hurry, jedi isn't feeling up to coding at present, but last I asked, he hopes to feel more like it 'soon'.

I have both the CMS50F and CMS50IW. Sleepyhead allows me to download from both the SpO2 file or directly from each device. SH even allows for session selection from the CMS50IW. The only "thing" is the default username on the oximeter, regardless of naming the device, is always "user" and SH always barks at that.

on the f or i? I can rename the i models (handy if you happen two have two in the house for different people)

that was an interesting reverse engineering session ... "why do I have graphics characters in my username now?"

Sleepyhead cannot import from the program file directory move the spo2 file to My Documents.

My best suggestion is to uninstall SPo2 assistant from its current location and reinstall but change the install location to C:\SPO2 that way sleepyhead will be able to import from the data directory without issue. The whole issue is caused by spo2 Assistant using the program directory for data
