Resmed s9 wants to erase my SD card

Resmed s9 wants to erase my SD card

I recently toasted my old computer (seriously!) and had to buy a new one. I downloaded and installed the latest ResScan SW and installed the SD driver. I was able to download my data to the computer, but when I plugged my card back into my CPAP machine, it wanted to erase the SD card.

Any ideas what is going on? Since I had the data on my computer, I went ahead and erased it last night. I downloaded last night's data tonight, plugged the card back into the CPAP machine, and it again wants to erase the card. Something isn't playing well...

apparently the s9 will not play well with windows. Lock the card before putting it into your computer for it to read, or it will add some little file(s) that the resmed doesn't like, so the xPAP will want to erase everything.

Terrible time to need a new computer. I plan to wait for Win10, no matter how long it takes.
They will get none of my money until windowspunk is history.

Yes I am. A driver. Not a lizard. That was a sticker I had on my International. It didn't work.

The slimebags at MicroSoft decided to have Windows 8.1 write data to SD cards when you insert the card into the PC without asking for permission. The dummies at ResMed made the S9 machine refuse to use the card if there's any extra data on it.

There are some fixes in the links in my signature line, but locking the card before putting it into the PC works as long as you don't forget to do it, and don't forget to unlock the card when you put it back into the CPAP.

I use Windows 7 with my Resmed and just purchased a new pc . I had no issues with sleepyhead. I think Rescan sucks!
