nasal pillows leakage problem

Post by RKuczek » Tue Dec 02, 2014 6:55 pm

I use the Adams Circuit nasal pillows system, and find that I have some problems with leakage around the pillows. I have dealt with this by tightening the shell strap, but find that this results in fairly quick self destruction of the shell strap, as it quickly stretches out of shape from being tightened enough to stop the leakage. I use the large nasal pillows, and am wondering if moving to the extra large pillows or the large dilator pillows would help, and if so, which choice would be the best to try first. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with this mask, but you definitely do not want the straps really tight. You actually want it a little loose so the pillows can inflate. I pull them away from my nose some so they inflate and then release. Adjust a little if there's any air leaking.
